There was a lot of noise, the bathroom battery made a clanging sound like a pot. The quiet was broken by too much noise; at 22.30 someone was talking loudly on the phone. It was very noisy.

Provincial is just a short walk from Viseu de Jos station, under ten minutes, and the route is easy to spot with clear signs; the receptionist already had me checked in, which was a nice touch. There’s on‑site food, and I could leave early the next morning without any hassle. The only issue was that, as a non‑smoker, I noticed some cigarette smell coming from outside the balconies, so the room air wasn’t as fresh as I’d hoped; it’s a small problem that won’t stop me from returning.
