The property was beautiful, and the gardens and outdoor areas were amazing.
I’ve been in Indonesia for about six weeks now and have gotten used to the fact that Islam plays a big role in everyday life. The prayer announcements over loudspeakers are common in many places. At this hotel, the mosque is right next to the property, so the prayers and religious activities are clearly audible in the rooms. During my stay I heard a long religious celebration around the Festival of Sacrifice and early‑morning activities. Guests who are sensitive to noise or want to sleep in should keep this in mind. On the bright side, the rooms have double sliding doors to the balcony, which helps reduce noise when closed. Otherwise, it’s a good hotel with very friendly, helpful, and professional staff. My comments are not meant as criticism of the hotel or local culture, but practical information for future guests who value quiet and peace.
“A Quick and Easy Check-In, but Excellent Breakfast”
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel, with one notable exception - the breakfast was excellent and satisfying. However, the check-in process was quick and easy, which was a relief after a long journey. Overall, my stay was enjoyable, and I would recommend this hotel to others.
“Verschrikkelijk”
The breakfast was fine. The listing on Booking didn’t give correct room information or show the rooms accurately; it claimed 3‑person rooms were 45 m² with fast internet, but our room was barely 20 m² and the internet kept dropping. We were told the room was far from the lobby, and the safe was broken. We were promised a different room the next day, but instead the safe was fixed. When we asked about a 45 m² room, they said none existed and that they would correct the listing. Now Booking shows 26 m², which is also wrong. Normally I wouldn’t mind, but I booked for two teenagers and needed a spacious room with working internet. My stay turned out terrible. The hotel didn’t change the room. I ended up spending the evening in the lobby, which was swarming with mosquitoes. Twice we were woken at about 6 a.m. by people trying to enter our room, probably mistaken for another room. The pools were very shallow and more like kiddie pools. I would not recommend this hotel if you have teens or teenagers. The information is simply incorrect, which I find unacceptable.
“A Mixed Experience with Great Staff and Comfortable Bed”
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of my stay at this hotel. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff were also friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home. However, there were a few issues with the room service, as the prices were significantly higher than advertised, and the breakfast was a bit of a letdown.
