I booked a single but was upgraded to a twin room, and the facilities were more than adequate for the price. It was a bit disappointing that the women’s bath was out of order and unavailable.
“ただ泊まっただけ”
Nothing special. The large public bath was broken and unusable.
“外人が作ったのか?といった大浴場”
The staff, though foreign, explained everything clearly and even clarified the shuttle situation at the front desk despite the confirmation email stating there was no hotel bus, which I appreciated. The hotel sits close to Narita Airport and, while cheap, is surrounded by no restaurants or convenience stores, making the location inconvenient; the room was unremarkable and the bathroom smelled, the so‑called large public bath had only basket‑style lockers and many foreigners, which felt insecure, and the separate valuables locker was also impractical. The shower water in the public bath was scalding hot—so hot that it seemed it could burn my scalp—even on the lowest setting, and the tub was so shallow it only reached just below my chest, feeling like a slightly bigger version of my home bathtub.
“セキュリティやプライバシーが危ない”
The room was tidy, but there was a gap at the bottom of the door big enough for a hand—or even a smartphone—to slip through, which could allow someone to film inside; the gap lets sound travel, so privacy is lacking. Also, there’s only one lock on the door, so anyone with the key can open it easily, and the door gap really needs fixing.
“總體來說還是非常好的。從機場過去的話,最好先確認好班次,不然不是要等很久,不然就是沒班次了。我記得我搭計程車花了3200日幣。”
The space was huge and comfortable, and the bathroom was separate from the toilet. The downside was that there was no shuttle from the airport; only a bus was available, which was somewhat inconvenient.
