Calm Cottage KASAULI HILLS Barog

We had a pleasant stay at Calm Cottage, Barog. The cottage is simple and basic, but neat, clean, comfortable, and provides all the essential facilities needed for a peaceful stay. What truly made our experience special was the caretaker, Mr. Ajay, who was extremely helpful, warm, and always ready to assist. He also cooked delicious homemade food that was fresh, tasty, and felt like a comforting home‑cooked meal. Mr. Ajay suggested authentic Himachali dishes for us to try, which made the experience even more enjoyable and let us explore local flavours. Overall, if you want a simple, clean, peaceful, and homely place to stay in Barog, we definitely recommend Calm Cottage. The property may be basic, but its cleanliness, comfort, and wonderful hospitality make it a lovely option for a stayover in Barog.

The staff was very supportive and courteous. The rooms were neat and clean. Food was prepared fresh on demand and was tasty.

“Overall a wonderful stay.”

The view from the room and terrace was awesome. Food was good too. The owner helped us book a cab to and from Chandigarh, which was really helpful. The interiors were a bit lacking.
