“Fantastic experience.”
The place was in an excellent spot, within walking distance of everything, the breakfast was fantastic, and the staff consistently went above and beyond; I’d recommend it to anyone heading to Florence. I can’t think of a single flaw – everything was fantastic.
Breakfast was the highlight of our stay, and the room felt very “homey,” though it could use a little refreshment; the location was convenient. The woman at the reception desk was not friendly or welcoming, except when we checked out and paid the invoice, when she was somewhat pleasant.

We were close to all the places we wanted to see and near the train station, so even on a hot day we could walk almost everywhere; being so near the piazza and carousel added to the magic. The only downside was getting stuck in the elevator once, which was scary, and we didn’t have washcloths for the shower, which we’re used to.
