“Overall, comfortable. Would love to stay again if the hotel can do something about the beds.”
The easy cancellation policy until close to the travel date was very helpful, making any change of plans convenient and worry‑free. The staff were cheerful and friendly from all departments. The airport shuttle was very convenient; I didn’t pre‑book because I didn’t have a data plan when I landed, but I waited at the designated pick‑up area, the shuttle bus came and picked us up without hassle, and the driver was polite and cheerful, which was much appreciated after a long haul. We stayed in a one‑bedroom apartment in the Executive Tower overlooking Alderbridge Way. The room had all the amenities as stated; it was bright with natural sunlight, full‑length windows, airy, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The apartment had in‑suite heating, and the kitchen was equipped with the basics for cooking. The bed in the bedroom was too soft for our comfort and had a very thick mattress. Overall, with the bed plus mattress, the height of the bed was too high for us; it was about 2.5 ft from the floor, which felt “dangerous” getting in and out. The hotel couldn’t do anything about it, so I ended up sleeping on the floor. It would be great if the hotel could arrange a thinner, harder mattress on request. The sofa bed was old, and the tension was loose and slack in the center, so it wasn’t comfortable. The cutting board was missing in the kitchen; having a kitchen with no cutting board is a bit of an oversight. Despite feedback, we didn’t receive one during our 7‑day stay. For any requests, contact housekeeping before 5 pm; after that they’re off‑duty. The front desk was reluctant to take a message for housekeeping and asked us to call again tomorrow morning.
