Hotel Palace Galapagos

“loved it”

The hotel sits on a quiet street. Our room was very spacious, had a nice porch and a back patio where we could hang all our wetsuits and dive gear. The kitchen was perfect for a quick breakfast before heading out. We received coffee from reception every morning. We had two large bedrooms and a comfortable bathroom—everything we needed and it was within walking distance of the main malecon.

“Brilliant spot would highly recommend.”

The stay was great. Everything in town was within walking distance. Breakfast was excellent and available every morning before tours. The owner was accommodating, friendly, and helpful when we asked. The room was comfortable, cleaned daily, and air‑conditioned. Nothing to complain about.

“Res justifica el preu pagat”

The truth is there was very little, but there was purified and cold water available at all times. The price was high for what was offered. The staff were decent but not very enthusiastic or helpful. We expected travel tips and suggestions for things to do on the island, but the staff interacted very little.

The room was clean. The location is extremely remote, and it’s insanely noisy—you hear everything from the neighboring room or the street. The curtains don’t close completely, so street‑lamp light always spills in. The bathroom has mold. Staff were terribly unmotivated and unfriendly, always seeming reluctant to help or answer questions. The price‑performance ratio is absolutely off, and we would never recommend or rebook. For that price you definitely get better value elsewhere.

Comfortable hotel, attentive to details with dedicated staff. A bit far from the busiest area, but that gives it more peace.
