During the company’s holiday period there was absolutely no staff, no breakfast, and none of that was announced. The room was very warm and there was no air conditioning.

The breakfast and dinner were good, and there was a fridge with cold drinks in the hallway. During the June 2026 heatwave a fan would have been welcome, but apparently they had ordered one.

The meals were quick frozen fare, and the breakfast was overpriced for what you get. No human contact; the owner seems to be constantly bothered, and the hotel is almost empty.

I couldn’t find anything I liked. The breakfast was weak and simple, pre‑made on the table (two rolls and two small plates with about four kinds of cold cuts and cheese). When I arrived I had to shoo away flies from the food, got a single glass of juice, and the staff showed no interest. My south‑facing room had no air‑conditioning, making it unbearable during the high temperatures, and the night was miserable.

The welcoming reception and excellent kitchen were appreciated, but I still can’t get used to the limp pillows, which is common in many German hotels.
