The location was good. The room was fine – the tap and AC worked. A minor issue arose one day but was fixed quickly after I called management. I didn’t like anything unfortunately. There is no comfort in this place, so if you have a tight schedule you must be ready to handle things yourself – there is no management, only two watchmen. My wife and I were offered the same breakfast for each day we stayed. On the third day the bread seemed rotten, yet as a diabetic I had to eat it to keep my blood sugar steady. The guest house is run by two watchmen, and for everything you must call the manager on WhatsApp – even for breakfast. The watchmen have no phone or don’t know how to use it. There was no cutlery in the kitchen, and what was available had serious hygiene issues – no coffee mugs or cups, so I had to clean dishes myself. The kitchen had no light, and when my wife used the microwave, we found cockroaches everywhere. When we complained, we were told it was because we used the microwave – what a joke. Eventually we left two or three days early and stayed elsewhere for the rest of the period. The house feels like a ghost house, not a guest house.
