The staff were lovely, the room was roomy and clean, and the garden was pretty in a quiet area surrounded by rice fields close to the center; bikes were available on site, breakfasts were tasty, and I recommend it. Everything was great!

The hotel is very clean, the rooms and bathrooms are the right size (eight rooms total), each with a balcony or terrace; air‑conditioning is handy in May, the garden is nice and shaded with plenty of birds, and it’s about 10‑15 minutes walking to the riverbanks in town. The on‑site restaurant serves delicious and inexpensive food, breakfasts are hearty and varied, there’s a free bus pickup and a welcome drink, and the manager and staff are genuinely sweet—quiet, friendly, and helpful without pushing tours or tickets. They made the stay very pleasant; we came last minute for a bus ticket with no commission, stayed an extra night to rest, and many guests have long stays here (like sanctuary volunteers), so it feels like home!

The room was spacious, clean, bright, with hot water and very comfortable bedding, all with a countryside view; the team was fantastic and attentive, the food was good, and it felt like a haven of peace. Ashish suggested activities like safari, canoeing, jungle walks, and unforgettable sunsets, and the joy of seeing rhinos, other mammals, and many birds made it a truly exceptional place I highly recommend. Thanks to the Happy Land team. No complaints.
