The breakfast was fine, and the motel is well‑located, but the mattress was uncomfortable and I couldn’t get my bill sorted out.

The place is close to the highway, but the towel on the bathroom hook was dirty and there was hair in the tub and sink. The bed looked like it was from the 70s, and when we arrived the attendant tried to charge us $50 more than what we had confirmed on the app. When we questioned it, they called someone, had an undisclosed conversation, and blamed a “tech” issue because it was their first day using the site. Another guest we spoke to had actually paid the “extra” fee. It might have been true, but it definitely felt shady.

The pillows and the duvet were worn out and could use a replacement; an extra pillow was missing. The breakfast had too little food.

The location is convenient for a stop near highway 20, but the motel is a 1960s vintage that could be charming. Everything is dilapidated and, most of all, dirty. It shouldn’t be offering this type of accommodation.
