The spot is great for tube travel, the staff were very helpful, and the continental breakfast was plentiful and included. The Indian restaurant downstairs served tasty food. Because of the heat we kept the window open, so there was some road noise; if you want peace and quiet you might stay further from the city, but then you lose the convenience of the location.

It’s a nice place in a great spot near Gloucester Road station. The hotel is being closed because it’s sold to a multinational chain, probably for upscale luxury apartments or something.

The location was acceptable. I accidentally left some clothes hanging in the cupboard, including a leather jacket, and the staff said they never found them, refused to return the items, refused to refund their value, and ignored my repeated attempts to get help.
