The place was close to the city, yet it felt very rough and outdated; the bed was basically a sofa pull‑out with springs that popped every time you moved, and the whole room was filthy—cleaners never reached under my bed, where a straw and paper towels lay.

Not much. I caught staff going into my room several times when they thought I wasn't on the premises. I also witnessed staff prepping through the excessive gaps between the room door and the door frame. Straight bs!
