The quality‑price ratio was very good.
The pool was red, close to Nibiru, and the people were nice, but the room and bathroom were not up to par.

Baia execrabila, apa se prelingea din vasul de wc prin spate, recipientul de sapun gol, furtunul de duș legat direct de chiuvetă, fera cabină de duș, deși in pozele de prezentare baia avea cabina de dus, curățenia lasă de dorit, păianjeni și pânze de păianjeni pe pereți/ tavan
The location, price and services were all good.
I chose Casa Barbie because it’s close to Nibiru and I wanted to try a Romanian hostel. The place is indeed near Nibiru, but it’s not a 3‑minute walk as the ad says—more like 8–10 minutes, which is still acceptable. The third‑floor view is nice, but the room itself left a lot to be desired. The shower drain was clogged, the small board around the mirror was dirty, and the bathroom felt neglected; plaster was falling from the ceiling and the balcony handrail didn’t feel safe. They told me that if more people joined, the four of us would share only two keys, which seemed unreasonable, though it didn’t happen. Hot water was a nightmare: I waited about 30 minutes and never got it, so I showered with cold water. The price was reasonable, but I’d rather pay more for a clean, well‑maintained, comfortable place. I can’t see why this spot gets such a high rating.
