We loved how close everything we wanted to do was; our condo was perfect. However, it was confusing what was and wasn’t reciprocal between our resort and Big Cedar. Sometimes we were charged a fee only to learn we shouldn’t have paid, and other times we were denied access to a pool we had been told we could use.

The front desk staff went above and beyond for my large wedding/reunion group, especially Parker—though I didn’t get his last name—whose professional, positive, and helpful attitude was invaluable. He gave me extra time and attention to organize, choose, and distribute rooms efficiently, and I met with him multiple times; he listened to my concerns patiently and pleasantly. He takes his job seriously and makes everything seem seamless, resolving any problem. He is an asset to the resort and I’m very grateful for his help. Thank you again, Parker! The only downside was that there was no breakfast on site; the only food option was a single Mexican food truck, and the hot tubs outside our building were cold on the last day when I finally got to use them.

I was thoroughly impressed with the stunning property and the main lodge, which truly lived up to my expectations. However, my excitement was short-lived as I discovered that the pool was not heated as advertised, leaving it unbearably cold for a refreshing dip.

The hotel's prime location and excellent maintenance were definite positives, but I was disappointed to find that there were no coffee shops, snack bars, or food options available within the property, forcing me to rely on the limited convenience store at the front desk.

Our stay at the hotel was truly unforgettable, with its beautiful surroundings, lovely condo, and abundance of facilities that catered to our every need, including fishing equipment and other activities. The condo itself was modern, spacious, and well-equipped, making it feel like home. If I were to nitpick, I'd say that a couple more wastebaskets would have been appreciated.
