We went to Salta for a wedding and booked two rooms at Finca La Vertiente for the weekend. Three of us meant to have enough towels, but one room arrived empty of any. When we asked for an extra set the next day, the owner accused us of stealing the missing towels – a ridiculous claim, because the entire set was never there. She then shouted insults, calling me a “typical Argentine liar” and used other demeaning language.

The location is unbeatable – mountain views from every corner and no city noise, just the sounds of nature. The house itself is beautiful, with high ceilings and plenty of greenery. We stayed there while exploring nearby sights during the day and even worked a few days; the Wi‑Fi was excellent. The only downside was that the public transport was okay, but having a car would have been better.

Even though we arrived late, the staff welcomed us warmly and gave us water and tea. The finca is close to the airport but feels very peaceful, and the décor is stylish and cozy. The only drawback was that we couldn’t stay longer than planned.
