“Quirky hotel in a fantastic location”
Hotel in a great spot, we arrived by bike so access was super easy. Reception, lounge area and some rooms are on the 1st floor. Our double room on the 2nd floor was a good size and had a view over the hills and a side view of the castle. Very quiet. Good shower. Lovely roof terrace with seating and loungers. Good free Wi‑Fi in the lounge area. Our friends ate at the restaurant and said it was excellent. The owner let us store our bikes in his garage (along with four friends) for €20. The hotel was a great find, its location is second to none, quirky decoration and spotless. We had toured Spain by bike many times and this is the first time we were charged, which was a bit disappointing, but at least they were very safe and the owner moved his car to allow us to use his garage so I guess we shouldn’t complain, just a bit surprised. Wi‑Fi in our 2nd floor room (21) was very poor, but in the lounge it was fine. Finally, the aerosol air freshener in reception was too overpowering; one of us is asthmatic and it felt very uncomfortable and unnecessary.
