Getting the confirmation number for the two rooms from Marriott was a HUSTLE; they also wouldn’t give it to the people sleeping in the rooms, so I had to call about five times, explain myself repeatedly, and send emails, all while the year ended.

The pool was great and the location suited us perfectly, though we couldn't reach the beach even though it looked amazing. The villa felt old, Vernon Restaurant was closed on Monday evenings, Starbucks shut down on Wednesday mornings, and the internet was non‑functional at 3 Marriotts—no connection at all, while we had internet everywhere else during our 8‑week stay in the US. We were forced to pay for parking at our villa, and at Marriott Riverside Savannah the cost was $45 per night, which was very disappointing. Children were charged $25 per day to play, and there seemed to be a charge at every opportunity, yet we were not billed for swimming in the pool.

The location was good, but the room felt a bit old and outdated, making it definitely not worth the money.

Everything was very clean and well run, yet because of limited mobility I found it hard to navigate the distance between our room, the lobby, and the restaurants.
