“Eclectic place, needs updating”
Mark this as a Thai touring experience. It’s a chalet on the side of an amusement park, with a Thai restaurant downhill. The place is starting to show age; for example, the balcony bathtubs have seen better days.
Nothing pleased me. I booked the hotel for three days, paid 12,000 Baht for two rooms, and the living conditions were horrible. The room was very small and not entirely clean, water leaked from the ceiling, the beds were uncomfortable, there was almost no hot water, and the shower and toilet shared an extremely cramped space. The dinner price didn't match the quality; we stayed one night and left. Also, be prepared for no breakfast options—only one dish, and coffee isn't included. When checking in, you must pay an extra 200 Baht deposit for the key. There's no room service, and by 20:00 the staff are gone. The nearest store is inaccessible. In the morning, the irate staff called the owner and pretended to ask for permission to leave, acting like a market stall rather than a hotel. The reception was like a market stall for an hour or two, which is fine for a child but a zero for a hotel. I would not recommend staying overnight.
Surprisingly good place with a great location, restaurants, pets, playgrounds for kids, and a pool. We had a close encounter with wildlife, like a Malayan tiger. However, the resort definitely needs refurbishment; many things are old or neglected. The worst was one of the two water slides—it wasn't properly painted, so my son got scratches on his back, which shouldn't happen.
“Teleurstellend”
The cleanliness was terrible, with hair on the bed and stains on the pillows. The staff were not very friendly; I felt completely uncomfortable during check‑in and afterwards. The room was scorching hot and the air conditioning didn't work at all.
The children's playground was a highlight. The rooms were a bit rough.
