The bathroom fixtures were clean, and the temperature was fine—no weak showers or bad odors, which seems to be the cleanest in the area. The bed was made nicely. I was happy to see Häagen‑Dazs among the free snacks. But the communication before arrival was terrible; if you can’t write properly, maybe use AI. There was no apology when I got there. The room had a TV glitch, so they swapped me to another room, but the handover was chaotic—door knobs were turned while the room was still locked, they rushed through the instructions, and the new room had used tissues between the desk and sofa. The service felt cheap and annoying. I stayed because it was discounted, but at full price it would have been a huge loss. I won’t return even on a discount. I had a good experience a few years ago, so it’s a shame. Also, extra towels cost money for the first time I saw. There are cheaper hotels around with better service, so you’d be better off elsewhere.

The hot tub was fantastic, and the sound‑proof walls were a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable and spacious enough for a couple. I could order food via the TV app and specify the delivery time. The downside is that the nearest train station or bus stop is an 18‑ to 20‑minute walk, and there aren’t many dining options nearby.

Right after exiting Kyoto Min Inter, the signage was clear and the front desk staff were excellent.
