I missed breakfast because my flight left early, but Carlos was fantastic—he arranged a taxi for me in the early hours, was very kind, and walked me to the restaurant for lunch, all while the place was surrounded by beautiful flowers and birds.

The place really lives up to its name – tucked away in the woods like a little hide‑away. Carlos was on top of everything, friendly and super attentive. I liked the quiet vibe and the easy access to the forest trails.

If you love a quiet, green spot with squirrels, hammocks and birds singing, this is the place – the view from the nearby lookout covers almost the whole mountain range. They keep chips, beer and water stocked, which was a lifesaver, and both Carloses we met were genuinely helpful. The bathroom was fine and the shower pleasantly warm, and the balcony was a great spot to unwind. Just a heads‑up: the road to get there is narrow, twisty and a bit dusty, so riding a bike requires full attention.
