The outdoor area looks stunning, but it would be better if it functioned as a separate bar or restaurant rather than being part of the lobby, or if there was a bar outside.

The location near the city was great. The staff, however, were very unfriendly and incompetent. At check‑in they tried to charge us again for the room even though we’d already paid online. We booked a room for four people but were given a double instead; after complaining we were moved to another room that was still occupied by previous guests, which was very uncomfortable. We were then assigned a third room that was big enough for four but smelled musty and moldy. Although we had booked inclusive breakfast, the next morning they asked us to pay for it; after showing our reservation they only gave us three breakfasts, saying children over 12 have to pay. Since we booked for four people with breakfast, we expected four meals. The invoice listed four adults, so we saw it as four breakfasts owed. The hotel never budged, and we’ve filed a complaint. We cannot recommend this hotel.

Beautiful location and pool. The gazebo on the river is also a beautiful amenity. The hotel has gorgeous river views, and it is only a short walk to downtown and the neighboring park is very special. The Starbucks coffee served downstairs in The Bistro was a great bonus. The odor on the 4th floor was terrible. It was in the room and the hallways. We had to go buy air freshener to cope with the odor. The refrigerator did not cool properly and the room needs a Keurig coffee maker. The next morning, we did ask about the odor and the front desk staff said that an air conditioning pipe was damaged and flooded the upstairs and that the odor came from that. I'm not sure why guests were placed on the 4th floor as the hotel did not appear to be full. We should have asked for a new room, but we were afraid the whole hotel smelled the same so we didn't bother. Otherwise, the hotel was lovely
