No free breakfast! Mold outside our patio door. Part of the overhang was deteriorating, so we couldn’t use the patio. The view of the water was partially blocked by the pool area, also very unsightly.

The hotel was very well renovated. The rooms were spacious. We ate dinner in the on‑site restaurant and it was excellent. The views from our balcony were lovely. The pillows provided no support; you should offer something other than down.

The older hotel rooms 200 through 207 were closer to the front desk and morning coffee. Rooms facing the parking lots were sad if you expected any view. NOT! The exterior had peeling paint issues and deteriorated wood covered with newer metal. Kayaking was a free option that was nice. Although the rocky beach access and mud were a little hard on feet, the water view from our room 206 was the highlight of the whole hotel. A decent bar/food area. If staying in the two‑story newer area, it was a maze of a walk. Check‑in was terrible. Inside the BIGGIE COFFEE entrance you eventually find your way to a check‑in location.

The hotel was fantastic, with freshly renovated rooms that were spotless, comfortable beds, and it turned out to be the best night of our two‑week trip so far; every staff member was incredibly friendly, and I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.
