“the stay was good”
The rooms were comfortable, easy to find. The rooms has no phone to order room service and no menu in the rooms to know what to order from the restaurant. There was no back up for electricity since we had a challenge
“Very great, except the uncomfortable bathing time”
The staff were friendly and not fussed about time, which I appreciated, especially when room service waited for us to leave before cleaning because I had kids. One day I got sick and missed breakfast, but they still brought it to my room, which is unusual and I really appreciated it. I love the location because it’s close to beautiful places, and the bed was very comfortable. The pool was also great. On the downside, the bathroom window had no blinds, so the guy opposite us could see everything—creepy. I wish they had a smart TV for more viewing options and more breakfast choices, maybe a daily changing menu. The pillow covers were dirty even after being changed, so new ones would help. I was disappointed we didn’t get a sea view. The kids’ play area could be more attractive with more games so we don’t have to leave. Getting luggage up the stairs takes some effort.
“not worth the money”
The reception was friendly. The room itself was very rundown: the door was broken, the lampshade and bathroom taps were damaged, water was everywhere, TV reception was awful, the couch was worn out, the decor was very old, and a lot of maintenance was needed. It was absolutely horrible and the rating was deceptive for what you got.
“Owners need to pay more attention to the units and upgrade or else this hotel will not survive.”
The breakfast served was good—there weren’t many options, but what was available was tasty. The pictures shown for the Edwardian didn’t match what we actually received.
“never again”
Nothing positive. The sanitaryware is all old, feels dirty, the bed is very old and rusty.
