“Déçu de ce qu’est devenu l’endroit, en espérant que les propriétaires redonnent de l’humain au lieu”
The setting was cute, and the bubble and jacuzzi created a nice vibe that made us wish we had one at home. Unfortunately, the service quality has dropped a lot since our last visit two years ago. Many things are now extra or charged: we were shocked to have to pay for pellets to heat the stove when the bag ran out, for example. From the moment we arrived, they kept insisting on the equipment and warned that “the deposit will be taken” for any little issue… not ideal for a place that should be “de‑stressful”. Another major drawback: we ordered a cheese plate for €45, specifying our preferences. We were told we could only pay in cash, which hadn’t been mentioned before (and there was no clear info that card payment was impossible for the boards). As we didn’t want to be left to pick it up the next morning, we had to drive back and make a 20‑minute round trip into town to collect it. To top it off, there was a mistake on the board… with no apology or compensation. We didn’t get to unpack until 19:30, even though check‑in was normally at 16:30, and they forced us to check in at 18:30, with no chance to stay a bit longer the next morning. Again, no apology, no gesture. For your information, we had a health issue after our stay. We can’t pinpoint the cause. In the end, we were mainly disappointed by the customer relationship: lack of attention, little listening, and a very disappointing problem management. Despite the inconveniences, no commercial gesture or even real apologies were offered, leaving us with a feeling of neglect.
“week end amoureux”
The welcome, the spa with its light shows, and the overall quirky accommodation were great, giving a cocooning feel. The only downside was that the breakfast didn’t live up to the price/quantity and originality compared to the nearby houses.
