We stayed for just one night, but it was a very pleasant experience. The host met us on the roadside and guided us to the parking area, which was greatly appreciated, as navigating Matera’s streets can be challenging for first‑time visitors. The location is excellent, with all of Matera easily accessible on foot. The accommodation also included a lovely breakfast at a charming nearby café. Unfortunately, I can’t recall the name of the place, but the waitress was exceptionally warm and welcoming, making it a memorable start to the day.
