The staff were super friendly and at reception you get a parking certificate for the on‑site hiking parking lot. The hotel has a beverage vending machine with reasonable prices, and breakfast was very good. The path to reception could be better marked, and along the route from the Mosel to the hotel a few signs would help because my GPS failed in Moselkern.

The breakfast was very good, featuring extraordinary honey straight from the comb! The hotel sits right on the trail to Burg Eltz in the idyllic Elztal, making it highly recommended for a relaxing hiking holiday.

The location is absolutely quiet, the breakfast is excellent, the food is very good, and the room is completely silent with no noise from other rooms or pipe running. When the hotel is fully booked, parking becomes a challenge.

A lovely hotel set in the forest with a nice trail through the Eltz valley to Burg Eltz. Unfortunately, later on there was no onsite dining, and searching nearby was somewhat cumbersome.

The location is tranquil. On Mondays the restaurant is closed.
