Everything was great, and the location is fantastic.

The location is good, the room is spacious, and the bed is comfortable. However, the rooms feel a bit outdated and the bathroom is dark and somewhat worn. There is no reception desk; you check in at the bar. None of the staff were friendly during check‑in, check‑out, or when we came and went, which felt odd. It seemed like a budget hotel with minimal staffing and care. No doorman, and several times we walked in or out without seeing anyone. You need a key to use the elevator, but that can be bypassed. Coffee pods and tea were never refilled after the first day, so we had to purchase our own.

The room was roomy, the bathroom was large, the setup was comfortable, and the living area was tidy. I liked the big mirror and the small kitchen area. The view was… well, it’s Chicago.

The place was very dirty and not clean. The staff were extremely rude, barely able to lift themselves off the floor, and overall the cleanliness was an absolute no‑go.
