There’s a small lift, and the rooms on the first floor have two bathrooms for three or four guests. A tiny kitchenette comes with a double stove, microwave, coffee machine (cups), and a fridge (you’re assigned one shelf). Room doors lock with a key, the bathroom door has a small slider, and there’s a toilet plus a rain‑ and normal shower head. Hot water takes a moment to arrive but the pressure is good. The room is spacious and comfortable, with wide windows overlooking the Estacion Norte monumental building. A standing fan was provided, which was a nice touch since September was hot and I chose a non‑air‑conditioned room (there’s an air‑conditioned option too). I was already in Madrid, and the host let me check in early. The host is friendly and helpful, though communication is Spanish only. I’d stay again; the location is great and the rooms offer the privacy I need. I always bring proper ear buds because the street is noisy, the apartment doors are loud, and the walls are thin.
