The Gappmaiers don’t speak much English and I speak very little German, but we managed well, and they were friendly and very helpful. They can arrange tourism guest cards so you can access local and regional transport for free, and also get discounts for other local services. The apartment we stayed in was spacious, immaculately clean, nicely furnished, and had a very well‑equipped kitchen. It was excellent value for the price. The location is great, only a 10‑minute walk into Filzmoos. We also enjoyed easy access to beautiful walks, including those starting at the Oberhofalm.

Excellent and hearty breakfast. Melitta and Hermann Gappmaier are the perfect hosts. My wife and I will stay again at the Gappmaier house on our next visit to Filzmoos.
