We absolutely loved our stay here; it was a truly wonderful and unique experience. The rooms were spacious and nice, and we enjoyed the hotel area.

The hotel feels like a little paradise. When we were there, it was quiet. We relaxed wonderfully after our jungle trip. The food was fantastic and unusual. They asked for our preferences and vegetarian meals were no problem. The grounds are beautiful and the many birds were a real highlight. The rooms are well maintained. In the reception area there are many great hammocks to relax in. The mosquito nets over the beds look nice but are not very functional; simple zipper nets would be better so that mosquitoes and other insects are kept out. The rooms are very warm and stuffy.

Overall we had a nice stay and want to especially highlight the very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel’s location is truly unique and offers a great way to escape everyday life and find peace. The food was also good and we particularly appreciated that free coffee and water were always available. A big plus was the ability to book excursions directly through the hotel; they handled all organization and transport so we didn’t have to worry about anything. The rooms could be improved: they were very dark and somewhat basic. A few extra items such as nightstands, bedside lamps or more comfort would make the stay noticeably better. The room and bathroom also had a slightly unpleasant smell, probably related to the Amazon location. The hotel has a very good basic foundation from which a lot could be added. Because there aren’t many activities nearby, a well‑designed pool, a billiard table, upper‑floor seating or various games would be a nice addition.

The property is gorgeous and well‑maintained, just a half‑hour boat ride through the forest, with nice hikes and staff always on hand and extremely helpful; the food was fresh and tasty, yet the buffet fell a bit short of expectations because only two options were offered and they kept repeating.
