“Kényelmes szálloda, nagyon jó helyen.”
The deluxe sea‑view room wasn’t brand‑new but felt very comfortable, with a nice bathroom and everything you need inside—fridge, armchair, chair, shower gel, shampoo, two bottles of mineral water daily, tea, coffee and a kettle. It’s just a step away from a bustling shopping street, with charming restaurants tucked into the side alleys, and the nearest metro stop, Shishane, is about an eight‑minute walk. The hotel’s street is quieter even though it faces a huge construction site, and the windows are well insulated—when they were closed I heard nothing, and even with the building full, only the door of the next room could be heard. Breakfast was adequate, not a huge variety but the same items each day: scrambled eggs, cheese‑filled burek, plenty of fresh vegetables, cheeses, some cold cuts, cereal and pastries. The restaurant sits on the top floor, the 6th, offering a beautiful view of the Golden Horn, and the lamb kebab I ate was very tasty. Everything else was fine.
