The place is great, with plenty of space and great views, but the breakfast was basic and limited because it was out of season. The rooms are old but acceptable, and the sauna was under refurbishment.

The staff were very kind and welcoming. The location is ideal for starting hikes, and we were lucky to be upgraded to a better room—this is the second time we’ve stayed here and received an upgrade. The jet‑bath was a real treat after a day of hiking. The room offered a clear view of the mountains. The half‑board buffets were decent in quality, but the quantity and variety were limited.
