The location is close to Tahrir Square and most tourist spots, the staff are wonderful and the price is reasonable for a room and lounge. The entrance of the apartment is in an old building and breakfast is modest but acceptable; there is no sound insulation and the apartment door needs repair and restoration, and the wooden balcony door also needs to be replaced with aluminum and insulated glass.

We stayed in a spacious apartment on the 7th floor with three large double bedrooms, a living room with a sofa bed, a kitchen equipped with a washing machine and drying rack, and a balcony with seating; it’s right in the centre within walking distance of the metro, and communication with the manager via WhatsApp was smooth, with thorough advice on excursions and sightseeing tips. The taxi fare was fair and the driver was very skilled and calm, handling any request we had. The only drawback was the dangerous lift, which has no inner door.

The location is right by Tahrir Square, with plenty of taxis and Ubers nearby; however, the host was practically absent, breakfast was left in the room for two days and on the last day there was no breakfast at all, many electrical outlets are loose—even those in the bathroom—and the bathroom floor is extremely slippery.

Yasser, the host, welcomed us wonderfully, took great care of us, and gave us a superb tour. The room was tidy, and the towels felt brand new.
