I booked this place because my daughter, a student, lives just three doors away from campus. The hotel itself feels very pleasant, but if you’re used to big, pompous venues, this isn’t it. It’s cozy, quiet, and homely. In my room, the windows faced the well and were covered with film, but I only stayed one night, so it didn’t matter. The rooms don’t separate the bathroom and sleeping area; the sink is in the room, and the shower and toilet are behind glass partitions, which might not suit those who feel shy. Cleanliness is excellent and the staff are very pleasant. They provide a glass bottle for water that can be refilled in the lobby. The minibar is extra. A supermarket sits right outside the hotel, and there are many cafés nearby. The city is a hub of science and art. Walking to the old town takes about 20‑25 minutes. I expect to keep returning to this spot in Valencia for the next few years.
