A great stop for cyclists, with secure dry storage for bikes, a hot shower, and a comfy bed; the pub across the road served the biggest meal I’ve ever had, and it worked well for me and my bike, with nothing to dislike.

Free Wi‑Fi and friendly staff, but no hot water in the evening—only at the start of the morning—plus the shower was either freezing cold or scalding hot, with no middle temperature; the room wasn’t cleaned or made, towels weren’t changed, and cups from the tea/coffee station were left unused.

Central location, excellent dinner menu, and quality service, but the bedroom and mattresses felt a bit tired.

The building was very old and quaint, right in the village centre; I ate at the restaurant and the food was good, but the kettle in the room wasn’t clean inside and had dust on the lid, the carpet needed cleaning, and parking was a little awkward to find.
