The hosts Tadao and Yumi delivered an experience that went far beyond what we expected, making our trip even more special. The guesthouse was very comfortable, stylish, and impeccably maintained; everything was spotless. Tadao and Yumi were incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to share useful tips. Even though we arrived after the usual check‑in time, Tadao still came all the way to the airport to pick us up, took us to the pier for our ferry, recommended popular local restaurants, and helped us make reservations. We are truly grateful for their warm hospitality and would definitely love to return. Highly recommended! There is absolutely nothing I disliked.

“Wonderful. A cozy HOME for escape and retreat.”

The breakfast was amazing—tasty, prepared by a cute couple cooking together, and the vibe was so good. The location is great, just a short walk from the train, and we appreciated the shuttle service the couple provided. Every detail, everything here, is just beautiful!

“Fijne plek met fantastische hosts”

We felt right at home from the moment we arrived at this lovely place! Yumi and Tadao are fantastic hosts. The room is very comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic. Nothing to complain about.

This characterful and charming guesthouse feels alive, full of art references, light, warmth, and aesthetic touches. The welcome from Yumi and Tadao is exceptional, starting from the arrival at the station and continuing throughout the stay, with Tadao routinely offering to drop you off on trips, which is very appreciated. The breakfasts are incredible in freshness and delicacy, from the choice of dishware to the dishes on the plate! Having Yumi and Tadao on site is a real plus, as their space is completely distinct. The neighborhood is residential, with a few very good restaurants within a 5‑minute walk. It is also very close, a 10‑minute drive, to the port and the city center. The place is immaculate and very comfortable. Bedding, bed linens, Aesop bath products—comfort after the many amazing views accessible from Takamatsu. Finally, a big thank you to Yumi and Tadao for their kindness, discretion, and delicate help throughout the stay. Nothing to say!

“Amazing hosts-amazing accommodations!”

This was our best stay in Japan. I cannot recommend this guest house enough. It is gorgeous, and our hosts Yumi and Tadao were amazing, attentive, helpful, and fantastic cooks offering us a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ breakfast!
