The room is modern and clean, but the location isn’t exactly ideal. It’s definitely close to the historic centre—about a 10‑minute walk to Via dei Tribunali—but the setting can’t be praised as authentic, as some reviews claim. It’s in a somewhat run‑down alley next to the local market. The entrance doesn’t promise anything good, as you enter a hall with clothes hanging and open houses, until a second door opens into a renovated structure. In my room the window couldn’t open because you’d see inside the tailor’s house and vice versa. Daytime is relatively quiet, but after sunset, when the market is gone and only a few people with unsettling faces are around, it’s not pleasant. The staff were always polite and helpful, but I didn’t like how the checkout went. The person I had as a reference didn’t wake up, so I didn’t know how to leave the room, keys, or pay the tourist tax. I was in a hurry, and fortunately the room neighbours told me what had been indicated to them, so I did the same. I tried calling the reference I had, and also tried the WhatsApp number I used to exchange some info, but I didn’t get a reply, only a message after several minutes. Finally, I think breakfast should be included, given the price paid and the service and location offered.

The place was generally clean and the room was tidied every day. The accommodation was inside the building and separated, so the security aspect was fine. However, there were not many hangers, no iron, and only one phone‑charging socket in the bathroom, which is a drawback for thin plugs – something you’ll find all over Italy.
