The Aparthotel Kleine Perle, a 4-star hotel, is quietly located in Cuxhaven, 600 metres from Döse beach. The hotel offers free WiFi, a spa area with hot tubs and sauna, solarium, massages, and bicycle rentals, with private parking available. It’s a small, cozy place, 10‑15 minutes on foot from the beach and about 10 minutes by car from the harbor, with a peaceful setting and very nice staff. Breakfast was fine but nothing special, and unfortunately there were no hot drinks in the morning—just coffee or tea.

The breakfast was very good and the staff extremely friendly, and the breakfast room on the 2nd floor is well designed. The location was very convenient, quiet yet close to the beach, with three restaurants right next to us. However, hot water only arrives after running the tap for a long time, the radiators in the bedroom look unprofessional, the light switch‑socket combo beside the bed isn’t firmly attached to the wall, the wardrobe mirror had streaks, the carpet was poorly laid and the baseboard under the bed was loose, several tiles in the bathroom were broken, the maintenance hatch on the whirlpool was crudely screwed in, the bathroom wardrobe doors were partly crooked, the whirlpool didn’t work properly and some floor covers were missing. There is no elevator and the staircase is relatively narrow, making it unpleasant to carry luggage up to the 2nd floor. For a 4‑star property and the price and room category we expected better.

Overall I had a nice time and was satisfied with my stay; it was clean and the breakfast was very good and tasty. The only downside was that the water was only lukewarm at night until morning, so a pleasant shower wasn’t possible. The staff member apologized kindly after I reported the issue.
