Hotel Alaska

Wonderful hotel, and as soon as we arrived a Swiss‑sized Alaskan shepherd greeted us. We were also staying with our dog, who was very friendly. Overall, the hotel is dog‑friendly for both pets and owners. The location is superb, ideal for hiking. Above the hotel is a chairlift and slopes, making it perfect for winter sports too. The restaurant and breakfast are excellent. The staff, especially the receptionist, even spoke a bit of Czech and was very helpful. The wellness area features several saunas and a whirlpool. I highly recommend this hotel; we really enjoyed our stay with our dog and would gladly return.

“A wonderful stay and the perfect base for exploring the Dolomites”

The room was very good—clean, well designed, spacious, and comfortable. The spa was exceptional, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was also great with plenty of options. There isn’t much to dislike! Minor quibbles didn’t affect our overall experience. The location is excellent for accessing the lifts, though it’s a bit farther from the village centre, which might be less convenient for walking back in the evening or after dark. Dinner options are very good, though perhaps not quite exceptional. Also, not all staff speak English, but that wasn’t a significant issue for us.

The view was gorgeous, the staff super friendly, right next to the valley station, breakfast fantastic, the new wellness area truly impressive – highly recommend it. Nothing to complain about.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning setting with truly warm staff—our unforgettable impression comes mainly from the magical sauna spaces. The breakfast was outstanding—fresh local treats—there’s really nothing to complain about. We would love to return if possible.
