Having a toilet and shower room on the same side of the room meant I didn’t have to keep opening and closing the lock. The refrigerator’s motor made a loud noise and I couldn’t sleep; the free earplugs in the washroom were a plus. It was late at night, so it was unavoidable, but the toilet was dirty.

It was cleaner than I expected and quiet, so I slept well. For 5,200 ¥, the value is adequate.

Self‑check‑in and check‑out were great. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all provided, so I didn’t have to bring anything. It’s just a short walk from Ogikubo Station, which is very convenient. As usual with hostels, the cleanliness depends on who stays. This time, toilet paper fell in the toilet, towels fell on the floor, and at about 1 a.m. a group of young people were loudly chatting, which was a bit disappointing.
