Khao-Sok Bed and Breakfast

A big room with a terrace, very friendly owner who let us shower for free after our two‑day lake tour. Breakfast was tasty with good variety. Located right by the river bridge, you can also do a fun and scenic 1‑hour tubing trip on the river. The two‑day lake tour she arranged, featuring a floating bungalow stay, kayaking, swimming, a coral cave, and a safari in the afternoon, is also worth it. We saw a bear, monkeys, and birds. The food was good and plentiful, though the bungalows weren’t very clean. A worthwhile experience!

The staff were super friendly and nice, and the location is good. However, the balcony is unusable because about 20 monkeys attack it, screaming, punching the door and windows for hours, even at night and early sunrise, making it hard to sleep.

The bed and overall experience were very nice, and we saw monkeys on the back terraces overlooking the jungle. The hotel offers the option to book excursions in the park, some activities are cheaper here than elsewhere, and the restaurants and cafés nearby are easily accessible. Just budget about 4000 TBH for a couple to do fun things and explore the park; otherwise everything is great.

“Dernière fois”

The breakfast was decent. The staff were very unpleasant, the rooms were basic, and after 10 pm you had to climb the hotel fence and force the front door to get in because the staff were at the bar. One room had a horrible smell, and even the monkeys wouldn’t enter. Breakfast was only available from 7:40 am (when the staff woke up).

“Disappointing”

I was quite disappointed. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly, with hairs and body hair left behind. The furniture was dusty and didn’t look cleaned. The staff were unfriendly and not welcoming. I wouldn’t recommend this place and would choose somewhere else next time.
