Check‑in and check‑out were very pleasant. It was also great that we received a breakfast package because we were leaving at 5 am. The breakfast that morning was very good. The hotel parking and the proximity to Cascais and restaurants are ideal. The bathroom outlet was hanging open from the wall, there was no fly screen, and mosquitoes bothered us at night.

The breakfast buffet was very good, but the room was noisy and not quiet, so it was very disruptive. There was a lot of noise in the garden, by the pool, and in the pool area. The access to the outdoor bar was somewhat difficult.

The view of the pool and sea was lovely and the room was a good size. A bidet in the bathroom made me very happy! The beds were comfortable. Breakfast and the evening buffet were both very good. The toilet paper throughout Vila Galé is the cheapest, roughest, thinest, most awful kind one can get!!! Cutting corners on something as basic as toilet paper in a 4‑star hotel makes me question where else they choose poor quality, like food ingredients. Two lamps in the bedroom were broken and the lights are very dim, so the room is poorly lit. There is no top sheet on the beds, another area where they cut corners!
