Located in Baie-Saint-Paul, Hôtel & Spa Le Germain Charlevoix features modern rooms inspired by historic farm buildings, with light wood floors, contemporary furnishings, and colourful accents. Each room includes a flat-screen TV, Nespresso coffee machine, bathrobes, and heated bathroom floors. The hotel offers an on-site restaurant, spa, and concierge service, as well as a games room and access to Le Massif ski mountain and scenic train excursions.

Every year we return, and this hotel is one of my all‑time favorites worldwide. My kids can’t get enough of it. The place is stunningly clean, and every tiny detail has been thoughtfully added. The surroundings are great for hiking and the food is delicious. I’m always really sad to leave.

A very nice spot with a cozy vibe and excellent bedding. Breakfast overlooking the park was great, high quality, and there was a wide variety of food. The bed was closer to 140 cm than the advertised queen size. The lack of an elevator or assistance for heavy luggage on the upper floor is regrettable.

The view from the outside, the room colors, and the tapestry behind the bed are nice. The bed is spacious and pretty, but it’s too soft and the sheets aren’t secured; the décor focuses on the “look” more than comfort, with little room to move, only one chair, no table except a desk facing a wall, and the bathroom accessories are poorly ergonomically designed—no hooks for towels or robes.

The welcome was warm, the staff genuinely friendly and very professional. Special thanks to Louise-Bonnes of concierge for her good advice, and to the breakfast team—Sarah, Chantal, and Sébastien—for their cheerfulness, not to mention Mohamed at reception who always answered our requests. We’ll definitely come back on a future trip. The bed was a bit small and the bathtub‑shower combo wasn’t very practical.
