The location right on the beach was great, but the bathroom was awful – I felt like I was in a hostel with ants crawling over the sink, and the breakfast was so mediocre that I chose to eat elsewhere; the instant coffee and the three daily options were the same, and if you want a proper cup you have to pay extra, so I’d rather go somewhere else.

It’s well situated and this isn’t my first time staying at Pondok, yet the facilities feel worn out.

I could hear the sea from my bed and the view was fantastic, but the bathroom was very rustic and dark, and the room itself felt a bit dim.
