“I am delighted that I only booked for one night”
I only appreciated that it was close to Essex; everything else was a mess—a run‑down building with a plastic shower and a broken railing, all for $600 a night, the worst value‑for‑money hotel I've ever paid.
The room was roomy and comfy, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the bar was a welcoming spot to unwind at the end of the day.
The bedroom was spacious and comfortable, though the bed felt too firm for our taste; the staff were rarely available and communication was lacking, so the place definitely needs some TLC and sprucing up.
The room was a stunning, spacious retreat with a beautifully appointed bathroom, set amid a lush landscaped backdrop near charming villages and towns, and there were plenty of nearby spots for shopping, dining, and water sports.
“Beautiful room and inn. I would certainly stay again and recommend to friends. Worth the expense.”
The room was exceptional—my best inn‑type stay—very large, comfortable, tastefully furnished, spotless, and air‑conditioned without drafts; the staff were efficient, breakfast was great, and every public area was clean and well‑maintained; they could just be a bit more cheerful and welcoming, though they were polite and efficient.
