The location was awesome, but the gym was too small and there was no coffee maker in the room.

The Evelyn NoMad, a boutique hotel in Midtown Manhattan's NoMad neighborhood, offers residential-inspired rooms with Art Nouveau style and free WiFi. Each room features a flat-screen cable TV, and some have wood floors and a reading area. The hotel offers a Saturday walking tour, concierge services, and free luggage storage, with the Flatiron Building and Empire State Building within a 5-10 minute walk.

The hotel was lovely, perfectly situated in Manhattan’s heart, and the staff were professional and polite with great rooms and beds, but I found it unprofessional and horrible that a 4‑star or higher hotel advertised free breakfast yet only offered a “grab and go” snack and one drink—just five options instead of a buffet, which makes me avoid any hotel that claims breakfast is included for such a poor offer.

The location, cleanliness, and staff were good, but the rooms were cramped for three people.

The grab‑and‑go breakfasts were tasty and the staff were friendly; the ambience and lobby were nice. It’s pricey like everything these days, though I can’t complain too much, and the room next to the elevators isn’t ideal—though I probably should have asked for a different room—so it’s not entirely the property’s fault; overall it’s a nice place I’d return to.

The stay was wonderful, but because of a wedding I couldn’t access the bar and I wish I’d known that before booking.
