Villa Rosa in Lagos sits 650 m from Dona Ana beach, offering elegant, air‑conditioned rooms with balconies and antique décor. Guests enjoy an outdoor pool, sauna, steam bath, and free Wi‑Fi. The daily breakfast buffet and cocktail bar at Dom Manuel I add luxury. Proximity to Camilo beach, Lagos Castle, and Ponta da Bandeira makes it ideal for culture and relaxation.

This place has the worst check‑in process I have ever experienced. It starts with the fact that the address listed for the property is not the correct address. When you arrive, you then discover that, somewhere in the fine print, they mention that check‑in takes place at a different location. To make things even more confusing, the check‑in location is not even at the address they sent you. Instead of receiving clear and accurate instructions before arrival, you have to figure out where you are actually supposed to go after already arriving at the wrong location. This is especially frustrating when you are carrying luggage and want to get settled in. Then comes another issue: they ask you to leave a €100 deposit or provide your credit card details, including the security code. Asking guests to provide sensitive credit card information in this way, especially after such a confusing and poorly communicated check‑in process, does not inspire confidence. The entire process feels unnecessarily complicated and poorly organized. A check‑in should be simple: provide the correct address, clearly explain where the check‑in takes place, explain how to get the keys, and communicate any deposit requirements clearly and in advance. Unfortunately, none of this was handled properly here. Important information is hidden in the fine print, the addresses are confusing and inconsistent, and the instructions do not match the actual locations. The accommodation itself may be fine, but the check‑in experience was frustrating from beginning to end. Guests should not have to search for the correct location, discover important conditions at the last minute, or feel uncomfortable about providing sensitive financial information. Clearer communication, accurate addresses, and a straightforward check‑in process would make a difference. Unfortunately, based on my experience, the check‑in process was stressful and could have been handled more professionally.

The location was good. The terrace door was non‑functional, so it couldn’t be locked. A large construction site with loud noise started at 7 am.
