The location and staff here are top-notch, with some of the best views around. However, I was a bit let down by the breakfast coffee - as a fan of local Balinese coffee, I found the ones at other hotels in Ubud and Canggu to be much better. The bathroom could use some improvements, like lighting for getting ready and a second hand wash to go with the two basins. And, the cocktails at the beach club could use a bit of a boost.

We just spent the most incredible six days at Anantara Uluwatu - the resort is stunning, with breathtaking views, but what really makes it special is the people. Our villa assistant Ari, the kitchen team, and interns like Faisal and Nova went above and beyond to make us feel at home, even helping us celebrate our engagement in style. The only thing to consider is that the hotel has a lot of stairs, so guests with mobility issues might want to request a room near reception for easy access.

This hotel has its pros and cons - the staff are super helpful and the rooms are clean, but it's pretty isolated and there's no beach nearby. If you're looking for a relaxing beach vacation, this might not be the best fit.

I had a nice experience here, but that's about all I can say - there wasn't anything that really stood out, either positively or negatively. It was just a pleasant, uneventful stay.

I loved the location, views, and friendly staff here, but the hotel feels a bit outdated, and I'm not sure it was worth the price I paid. Still, it's a beautiful place to stay if you're looking for a great location.
