Thanks to Jean‑François for his warm welcome; he was a friendly gentleman who gave us great advice and taught us a lot about La Sologne’s history, its estate, village and ancestors—very interesting! The place is typical, as is its museum where we were lucky to have breakfast; we’ll gladly return! Nothing to add.

We were well received. Beautiful accommodation under the same roof as the ecomuseum where breakfast was served. We received an engaging explanation about the house’s history (old metal forge). The main pillow was wonderful. The mattress was hard, but that’s a matter of personal taste and habit.

The sweet breakfast was pleasant and generous. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The prohibition on eating inside the house, the inability to ventilate it—windows are sealed, the fully equipped kitchen is sealed—plus the presence of waxed or plastic‑coated fabric on all furniture and the sofa.
